Developed a comprehensive design package for the 2023-2024 Premiere Volleyball League series, including broadcast templates, motion designs, lower thirds, in-game graphics, scoring systems, live graphics, branding, social media templates, and digital content.
Project Overview:
This project focuses on the creation of a dynamic and engaging visual identity for the 2023-2024 Premiere Volleyball League (PVL) series. The objective was to design a comprehensive package that captured the energy and excitement of the sport while ensuring a consistent experience across all platforms, from broadcast television to social media.
Challenge:
The PVL required a cohesive brand identity that could be adapted across three distinct series each year. The challenge was to create a visual language that would be both consistent and flexible enough to introduce fresh and engaging visuals for each season. Additionally, the design needed to resonate with a diverse audience and enhance the viewer experience, both on television and online.
Solution:
A comprehensive design package was developed using a suite of industry-standard design tools, ensuring seamless integration across different platforms and mediums:
Adobe After Effects: Utilized for motion design, including dynamic transitions, team and event titles, segment introductions, and animated logos. This brought a polished, professional look to both the broadcast and digital content.
Adobe Illustrator: Used for logo and branding development, ensuring a consistent and recognizable visual identity across all materials. The logo was meticulously crafted to embody the energy and spirit of volleyball, creating a strong brand presence.
Adobe Premiere Pro: Employed for video editing, ensuring smooth integration of motion graphics and other visual elements into the final broadcast and digital content.
Cinema 4D: Used to create 3D elements, adding depth and visual interest to animations and graphics. This allowed for more complex, engaging motion graphics that captured the excitement of the sport.
Adobe Photoshop: Leveraged for image editing, retouching, and creating textures and graphic elements for both static and animated designs.
Digital Prototyping (Figma & Adobe InDesign): Used for UI/UX deck design and slides for digital platforms, ensuring a consistent user experience across all digital touchpoints.
